What Did We Make?
Dreamland is a somewhat satiric character study and a glimpse into the surreal world of the Hollywood dream factory. Our heroine, Private Eye Lorien James, gets
in way over her head – but she’s driven by a personal connection to the case, as
well as a profound and growing sense of self.
And yes, it’s inspired by true events. Our writer, Chance Muehleck, felt that the
phone-centric nature of the actual (and still unsolved) crime would lend itself
particularly well to a fiction podcast. Most of the elements, of course, are
Muehleck’s own invention.
